Shark Renovation uses the information you submit through our estimate form to respond to your request, schedule an on-site consultation and prepare your estimate.

What we collect

Our form asks for your name, phone number and the service you need. You can also choose to give us your email address, property address, postal code, property type, a description of the work, and photos or videos of your project, along with their file names and sizes.

How we store it

Your request is saved in a private Google Sheet. Photos and videos are uploaded to a private Google Drive folder created for your request, which is not shared publicly or by link, and a link to that folder is saved with your request. Only people we give access to can open it.

Email notifications

When you submit the form, your request is emailed to our team. If you give us your email address, we also send you a confirmation. These emails are sent through Google.

Spam protection

Our form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is submitting it. Turnstile processes technical information about your browser and device, and your IP address, for this purpose.

How you found us

If you arrive through a link or an ad, your browser keeps its campaign details during your visit: UTM values, Google and Facebook click IDs, and the website that referred you. If you submit the form, these details are saved with your request, along with the page you submitted it from. We use them to understand how people find us and which advertising works.

How we use your information

We use your details to contact you about your renovation. We do not sell or rent your personal information. It is shared with service providers who help us operate our business, solely for that purpose. These include Cloudflare, which hosts this website and provides Turnstile, and Google, which provides our storage and email. These providers may process your information outside Canada.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information at any time, including any photos or videos you sent us, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
